can you see me?

Sam and Nicole have started to coo a little bit.  Nicole doesn’t like to go to bed but when you FINALLY get her to sleep she’s down for the night which is great.  Nicole is getting over a little stuffy nose which I think was the reason we got our first projectile vomit/spit up.  Sam is a very easy baby (at least compared to his sister).  Twins are very demanding on our time and I’m sure it is going to be harder once they aren’t sleeping as much.

Swim Lessons

We’ve started swim lessons for Ben this year and he is doing so much better than he did last year.  Here is a picture of him floating on a mat - he struggles to get his body flat to float so I think this is helping.  They are having a great time this year and I like being able to sit in the a/c and watch him!

Mulholland Baby Boys

Sometimes I think that Ben and Sam look so much like each other at this age.  I put Sam in the same outfit that Ben was wearing when they were the same weight.  This is Ben at 10 days vs. Sam at 6 weeks.  Can you tell who is who?

Hanging in there

Our house is very crazy it seems like I don’t have as much time to take pictures.  I’ve been trying to get some good pictures for the twins birth announcements but they don’t seem very photogenic at 5 weeks!  Here are a couple shots that I’ve gotten.  They are both eating well, sleeping well during the day but not so well at night, and I can tell that they are growing so fast.  We are making some progress with neck strength and working on it with tummy time.  Ben is very sweet with both of them but I think he’s a little jealous of their “toys” because he needs to try everything out (watch for picture soon).  Sam has finally realized that he needs to start checking out his environment and he’s spending  a lot more time awake…Nicole’s been doing this for weeks!

How to treat a worm

There is a big difference between how a girl and boy treat a worm.   Brooke simply held it out in the palm of her hand…   Ben had to squeeze it, roll it between his fingers, and torture it until it was dead.  We ended up wraping it up in a baby wipe and saying it was taking a nap.  At the end of the day it was Brooke who ended up throwing it on the ground to a crying Ben.  Next time we might have to pass on telling Ben when we see bugs!

Wild Animals

Ben and Brooke always love the zoo.  You can see from the pictures that they have a great time and get along very well.  Ben really wanted to ride in the stroller and we just didn’t have a seat for him so he crawled into the basket under Jack.

Amazing Spiderman

Ben loves Spiderman!!!  This picture says it all.  You’d better watch out at our house or you’ll get sprayed with a web.  I even found out when I slept with him that he throws them in his sleep.

Where are all the Paci’s?

When the babies first got home from the hospital I said to Jim that we had lots of paci’s that we should be set.  Now I struggle to find one to help soothe them when they are crying.  I think I found the culprit…

can't find any...

Grandpa Ron would be so proud!!!

Daddy and Ben planted an Oak tree this evening.  It was another free item they got at the festival yesterday.  Ben came back covered with dirt but what is new.  He had a great time with his shovel I bought him a couple of weeks ago.  They also planted a single flower in the front yard for me (of which Auntie K noticed that I had only one flower).  The title:  Jim’s dad would be so proud that we planted another tree :)
